Raunee, the pain is normal. The pain down the leg is probably the sciatic nerve. As your knee swells, it presses on the nerve. It gets better. I’m 18 weeks out now and feel better. I felt the same you did at 6 weeks. I was still on Percocet then. I switched to tramadol and Mobic at 3 months. The doctor had me come at one week, 3 weeks, 3 months, then 6 months, then once a year. He does X-rays every time to make sure all is well. I have a little swelling and it hurts after standing all day or a hard workout. I’m walking everyday, going to the gym and lifting leg weights and the elliptical machine. Swimming is the best and least stressful on the knee. I did the bike 4 mos. before the surgery and also lost 70 pounds. I started back on the bike at 3 weeks but ended up with a fractured tailbone so be careful on the bike! I’m 50 and initially injured my knee in 98 when I was hit by a drunk driver. The main thing is to keep exercising or your knee will get really stiff. Mine still does even after one day of not working out.

Coconut nectar is my new favorite. I’m halfway through my first bottle and I’ve already purchased my second. I have found it to be a great sweetener for my coffee and tea! I won’t go back to organic sugar! Thanks herby for introducing me to this great product! I never would have tried it on my own.
